That “prevention is better than cure” mountain region we can’t find any healthcare, clinic, and hospital if there is the clinic you may not get according to your problem medicine. So; I humble request please prepare if you are continually taking any medicine, please. It is very important but our company will provide something first aid kid bag normally as a headache, fever, stomach problem as diarrhea, cough & cold some bandage, tape & Diamox for high altitude sickness, etc.

Perfect Itinerary of Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek:


Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and a representative of Unique Nepal Adventure Trek will welcome and transfer you to your selected hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley by private vehicle with an expert tour guide. Prepare the Special Permit of Manaslu and Tsum Valley.

  • Boudhanath Stupa (Large white Buddhist Stupa)
  • Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple)
  • Patan Durbar Square (Ancient city)

Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar (600m) or Soti Khola (700m) by bus takes (8 hrs) stay overnight at beautiful comfortable Lodge.

Day 04: Soti Khola to Machhi Khola (870m) walking (6 hrs) Stayover night at Comfortable Lodge.

Day 05: Machha Khola to Jagat (1370m) walking (6/7 hrs) stay at nice Lodge.

Day 06: Jagat to Lokpa (2260m) walking (5 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge.

Day 07: Lokpa to Chumling (2385m) walking (6/7 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge.

Day 08: Chumling to Chhokangparo (3031m) walking (6-7 hrs) stay at nice Lodge.

Day 09: Chhokangparo to Rachen Gompa (3240m) walking (5 hrs) stay at nice Lodge. After taking lunch visit to the biggest monastery of female monks to call nunnery.

Day 10: Rachen Gompa to Mu Nile (3360m) walking (4/5 hrs) stay overnight at a nice lodge. It is beautiful walking along a nice valley.

Day 11: Day Excursion visiting the beautiful monastery of Mu Gompa and the border side of Tibet. It is a nice to visit then back to the Nile if you have time can come to bit down Rachen Gompa for overnight stay

Day 12: Rachen Gompa to Lokpa  (2260m) walking (7 hrs) stay at nice Lodge.

Day 13: Lokpa to Deng (1860m) walking (6 hrs) walking is beautiful can get there lunchtime and stay overnight at nice Lodge. It is starting to Manalsu circuit trek.

Day 14: Deng to Namrung (2630m) walking (6/7 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge.

Day 15: Namrung to Samagaon (3520m) walking (7 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge.

Day 16: Rest day and explore the samagaon Gompa and Birendra Kunda. It is such beautiful to have a rest day here we can say the base of world 8th highest Mt Manaslu.

Day 17: Samagaon to Samdo (3875m) walking (4-5 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge. Hike in day time bit in altitude area because we recommend go high and sleep low is the best medicine of high altitude sickness.

Day 18: Samdo to Dharamsala (4460m) walking (5 hrs) stay at a nice lodge. It is the highest place to sleep and needs to prepare for next day adventure high pass of Larkya La. There is a good managing lodge.

Day 19: Dharamsala / cross Larkya La (4930m) to Bimtang (3590m) walking (8-9 hrs) It is the highest pass of Manaslu trek. After success passes, you will feel so great going downhill feel so easy breathing.

Day 20: Bimtang to Tilje (2300m) walking (7 hrs) stay overnight at nice Lodge. It is we can say the last day of walking because the next couple of days we can recommend by vehicle or you can walk continue till Besisahar but need another few days to walk.

Day 21: Tilje to Dharapani one hour walking then catch a local jeep to Besisahar. It takes 3 hrs driving and stay at Besisahar.

Day 22: Besisahar to Kathmandu by bus driving is (7 hrs) stay at a nice hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 23: A representative of Unique Nepal Adventure Trek will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport by private vehicle.

Some Information of Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek

  • Both of the trekking is controlling area.
  • You need to join a trekking company.
  • You need to issue a special permit to enter Manaslu and Tsum Valley.
  • Manaslu Special Permit cost is 100$ for Sep to Nov and, 75$ for Dec to Aug.
  • Tsum Valley Special Cost is 40$ Sep to Nov and, 30$ Dec to Aug. 
  • Need to issue those permits as MCAP 30$, ACAP 30$ & TIMS 10$.
  • Kathmandu to Arughat or till Sotikhola by vehicle local bus or by private jeep.
  • Retuning vehicle Dharapani to Besisahar local jeep and Besisahar to Kathmandu by local bus or if you required we arrange private jeep to pick up and drop-offs.
  • Every day needs to walk 6 to 7 hours.
