Everest Three Pass Trek commence from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m) by flight then trek along the beautiful village of Namche bazaar (3440m) where will stay couple of night take rest for acclimatizing then visit Everest View Hotel or Khumjung, khunde village where is situated hospital & school in highest place. Foundation by first climbers of Mt. Everest Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay as well as can see the Yeti skull at Monastery of Khumjung. the trek Everest Three Pass Trekheads continue with beautiful trekking track then Tengboche (3860 m) where is a big monastery. What kind of trekking gears do we need to prepare for Everest three pass trek? Everest three pass trekking is one of the most beautiful challenging trekking in Nepal and 12 month cooling weather where we must prepare warm enough & necessaries gears as big jacket as down jacket, warm enough fleece, warm hat, gloves, warm enough sucks, warm trouser or trekking paints, some quick dry trekking t-shirt, half paint, warm enough negative sleeping bag, comfortable trekking boot, light sandal, headlight, 2 liter water bottle, sun cream, sun glasses, comfort day bag etc.

Carry your important medicine: medicine is very important if you have any disease you must carry the medicine with you. I mean “prevention is better than care” mountain region we can’t find any health care, clinic, and hospital if there is clinic you may not get according to your problem medicine. So; I humble request please prepare if you are continually taking the any medicine please. It is very important but our company will provide something first aid kid bag normally as headache, fever, stomach problem as diarrhea, cough & cool some bandage, tape & Diamox for high altitude sickness etc.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu:

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and a representative of Unique Nepal Adventure Trek will welcome and transfer you to your selected hotel by private vehicle.

 Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla flight (2800m) (35 minutes) Then Trek to Phakding (2620m):

Early morning flight to Lukla (2820m) 35 minutes then trek to Phakding (2620m) walking (4-5 hrs). The walking is gentle ascending & descending easy trekking trail and along the dudh koshi River with many villages. Stay overnight at comfort lodge.

 Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) walking (7 hrs) stay at Lodge:

Trek will start early morning 8:00 am must finished breakfast & bag pack before 8:00 am then trek will head continue along the Dudh Koshi river crossing the many bridges then arrive at Manju village after 2 and half hour walked. There is main gate of entrance for Sagarmatha national park means must issue the valid two permits as TIMS and National park permit then allowed to continue trek. Jorsally where will be lunch break then after lunch track head half an hour gentle then 3 and half hour need to ascend till Namche bazaar. It is long day walking but beautiful walking and stay overnight at nice lodge in Namche bazaar.

Day 04: Rest day at Namche bazaar but hike to Everest view Hotel or Khumjung Khunde:

We do not impress for get up how long do our clients need we give to sleep then after get up and fresh take nice breakfast then start to hike nice places to view the Mt. Everest and other snow peaks and Khumjung village & Khunde village (3860 m) where is high school and hospital running by foundation of first climbers Admin Hillary and Tenzing Norgey as well as in Khumjung village monastery can see Yeti skull. It is beautiful day takes time to ascend 2 hours and descend one hour for the activities. Where airstrip is as well where will land helicopter and small plane as plateau we call Syangboche situated (3700m). Why we recommend staying rest here in couple of days arrive high places so need to acclimatize same time can do many activities. Then back to Namche and take lunch, get fresh with hot shower, there is many fresh bakery, pub, bar can enjoy very much.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860 m) walking (6 hrs) stay overnight at lodge:

The day is beautiful walking days and panoramic viewing along the trail. First one and half hour gradual very enjoyable trail then descend an hour till River side where will be lunch then ascend more than two and half hour to get top of Tengboche camp. It is beautiful place where is bighest monastery where allowed to visit but opening time is morning 5 to 7 am and evening 5 to 7 pm. At the time monks will pray and visitor can visit there quietly. It is very beautiful day and place. Stay overnight at comfort lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4410m) walking (7 hrs) stay overnight at lodge:

Trek will start as usual time and walking is very beautifully as relaxingly first village will come Pangboche (3970m) then continue to Somare (4090m) there will be lunch break. The trek will continue as gentle ascending till Dingboche where will be camp. It is beautiful places.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day Hike to Nangkar shang Top 5050m walking 4/5 hrs:

After taking breakfast ascend to Nangkar Shang Top 5050m takes time 2 to 3 hrs then explore the spectacular mountain views as Amadablam 6800m, Island peak 6160m & Makalu 8436m. It is great acclimatize near to 5000m because most of the camp and walking will be up to 5 thousand mtr. We do heartily recommend to hike this hill to make confident to adventure high passes. Then return to lodge at Dingboche stay overnight at same lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Chhukung (4730 m) walking (4 hrs) stay overnight at lodge:

Trek can start slowly because Dingboche to Chhukung not to far only 4 hours walking but trail is gentle ascending in chhukung valley. View can see Mt. Amadablam (6800m) famous peak and Island peak climbing popular peak (6160m) then after lunch we recommend to hike some further hill for acclimatization. It makes much better to sleep in Chhukung and for next day high pass.

 Day 09: Cross the Kongma La pass (5535 m) and trek to Lobuche (4970m) walking (8-9 hrs):

Need to start early morning around 6:00am. Then takes time 4/5 hours to get the top of Kongma La (5535m) explore the view then descend and cross the glacier trail till Lobuche. It is one of the adventure days long walking day but you will feel proud after cross. Stay at nice lodge in Lobuche.

Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep (5180 m) walking (3/4 hrs) and visit to Everest base camp (5364 m) walking (3 hrs) return to stay at Gorakshep:

Need to start early morning walking trail is glacier open part but less oxygen and quite difficulty but when arrive in the Gorakshep put the bag and take lunch then trek continue to Everest base camp (5364m) then visit and make some pictures and return to Gorakshep. It takes time to get Everest base camp 2 hrs and back one hour. Then stay at comfort lodge. The night is highest place sleeping in Gorakshep (5180m) after trek you will feel wow I did it!

Day 11: Early morning ascend 2 hours to Kalapatthar (5545m) for Everest view then Trek to Dzongla (4830m):

Early morning climb Kalapatthar (5545m) to watch the highest mountain as well as other white wno peaks takes time about two hours to ascend and an hour to descend. After having breakfast at lodge trek to Dzongla (4830m) need to walk (4 hrs). The trekking is awesome and fabulous viewing trek and stay overnight at comfort lodge.

Day 12: Cho La Pass (5420m) then Trek to Thangna (4700m) total walking (7/8 hrs):

Early morning climb the Cho La Pass (5420m) takes (3 to 3 and half hrs) and trek to Thangna all the way descend 3 to 4 hours (4700m). It is one of the beautiful second highest pass outstanding mountain and glacier view. And stay overnight at comfort lodge.

 Day 13: Trek to Gokyo valley (4760 m) walking (3 hrs) relax:

Trek to Gokyo (4760m) walking (3hrs) after lunch we can explore around Gokyo Lake and Glacier. Trail is needed to walk glacier Gokyo glacier part. It is very enjoyable and not too hard path easy to access the Gokyo valley and Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Ascend to GoKyo Ri (5380 m) then after lunch visit to 5th lake:

Early morning ascend to Gokyo Ri (5380m) watch the view and take pictures then return descending to Lodge after taking lunch again hike to Gokyo 5th lakes but gentle walking track. It makes awesome for acclimatize and best Everest view and huge glacier of Gokyo valley and lakes as 5th biggest lakes. 3rd lakes are situated in front of lodge 4rth and 5th lakes are bit further. Then spend the night at Gokyo valley.

 Day 15: Renjo La pass (5360m) then Trek to Lunde or Marlung (4300m) total time (7/8 hrs):

Early morning need to ascend and will get the top of Renjo La pass (5360m) walking (4 hrs) then descend to Marlung (4300m) walking (3/4 hrs). it is outstanding viewing pass even we call last high pass. It makes awesome feeling to trekkers. The last pass it very beautiful pass and all of two pass can view from Renjo La pass. Then trek to open valley as Tibet borderline. And stay overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Trek to Namche bazaar (3440m) walking (7/8 hrs) stay at nice lodge:

Trek to along the typical village Thame (3820m) and Thamo village but gentle descending all trails till Namche bazaar. Lunch will be in Thame village. It is very enjoyable walking day and feels very easy to descending the gentle downhill.   Stay at Namche bazaar nice hotel and can enjoy very much in pub and bakery and can have hot shower after many days.

Day 17: Trek to Lukla (2820m) walking (7 hrs) stay overnight at comfort lodge:

Trek will continuously descending along the dudh koshi river, Manju village exit our permit, Phakding village where will be lunch then arrive at beautiful airstrip village Lukla spend overnight very happily. The last night of trek and some of trekking stuff as porter helpers can stay in Lukla can do bye by them in Lukla. It is one of the awesome trekking track as well as adventure trekking journey.

Day 18: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight:

Early morning fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla takes time (35 minutes) and transfer to your selected hotel in Kathmandu. You get yourself your time.

Day 19: departure day at your country:

A representative of Unique Nepal Adventure Trek will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport by private vehicle.
